Over the past year, the We Feed program has brought in 45,817 pounds of food, or 38,180 meals, for the Foodbank and affiliated organizations. This food has helped the less fortunate in our community get through another day and go to sleep with a full stomach. It is the effort of our partners like Church of the Good Shepherd and Gethsemane Community Fellowship Baptist Church, and many others that have made this possible. If you too believe that no one should go to bed hungry, then contact us. Together, we can make a difference!!

The Healthcare Collaborative food drive was a friendly competition between members of the Norfolk Healthcare Collaborative to see who could raise the most food during a critical period of time — the summer months. Employees, visitors and friends of each team brought in food donations. At the end of each team’s food drive, the Foodbank of SEVA sent a truck to collect the donations and weigh the total food collected. The goal was to raise awareness about food insecurity and help those in need!
